Region – Although the pandemic has stolen a great deal from our lives, there have been a few silver linings. Among them is a deeper appreciation of the things we may have taken for granted. The adversity we have experienced has served as a reminder of how blessed we are to be part of a loving family and a close-knit community.
The Community Advocate’s “Buy * Believe * Local” initiative is designed to shine a light on the local businesses and organizations that make our communities great. This pandemic has pushed local businesses to the brink and we must all do our part to support them if they are going to make it through. Over the next several months you will see the Buy * Believe * Local logo attached to events and offers designed to bolster local businesses. In fact, in this edition (page 39) you will see the Buy * Believe * Local partnership we have with the Corridor Nine/495 Regional Chamber of Commerce. It is just another reminder that we all win when we “Believe in Community” and work to support local business.
