Visitation House welcomes new executive director

Worcester – After a yearlong search, the Visitation House Board of Directors has hired Grace Cheffers as its new executive director. 

Visitation House is a warm, nurturing home environment that provides enrichment programs and support service for women with unplanned pregnancies. 

Cheffers received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Mass., Amherst,  and earned her J.D. from Ave Marie School of Law, Naples, Fla. She worked for three years as the first director of “The Mother Teresa” project at Ave Marie University, a program designed to help students in the spirit of Mother Teresa through study and service. As a mother of 11 and a grandmother of seven, she brings great passion and dedication to a mission that is very close to her heart.
