Gloria A. D’AngeloDelray Beach, Fla. – Gloria A. D’Angelo (Echevarria) passed away peacefully at her home in Delray Beach, Fla. on Monday, Nov. 30, 2020.

She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister. First and foremost, Gloria dedicated her life to her loving husband of 64 years, Charlie, who she affectionately called “Boo,” and her adoring children, Tessa, Jane and her husband Garey, Charlie Jr. and his wife Christine, and seven grandchildren, Andy, William, Matthew, Anna, Sophia, Anthony, and Nicholas. Gloria is survived by her brother, David Echevarria of Florida, and sister, Nini of Long Island, N.Y. Her dear brother Sonny Echevarria of Long Island, N.Y. preceded her in death.

Gloria was a passionate lover of classical music, literature, and gourmet cooking. Having been born in Manhattan, N.Y. and spending many happy times walking the gardens in Central Park, Gloria developed a passion for gardening which was evident by her beautiful yard full of colorful fragrant flowers and gardens flourishing with vegetables and herbs she used in the gourmet meals she lovingly cooked for her family.

Gloria and her family spent 27 years living in Southborough and was an active member of St. Mark’s church, where she loved teaching Sunday school and being part of the altar guild, and one of her favorite times of the year was Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve.

Her love of gourmet cooking and children guided her to teaching her daughters’ friends in Kimberly Park, Southborough, the artistry that is cooking and did it with love and kindness. There were many friends of Gloria’s children that considered her their second mom. Gloria will long be remembered for her love, unselfishness, and compassion.
