Hudson/Marlborough – Neither snow, rain, wind, nor a pandemic could stop the return of a popular seasonal event. The annual Festival of Trees took place Dec. 6 at the Marlborough Clubhouse of the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest (BGCMW).

Originally scheduled for Dec. 5 as an outdoor “drive through” at the clubhouse parking lot, the festival was postponed to the following day due to heavy rain, snow and gusty winds. The windy conditions continued on Dec. 6, so the festival moved inside the clubhouse with safety measures.

Decorated trees, wreaths and kissing balls were donated and decorated by businesses and nonprofit organizations. Festival-goers could purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win their favorite as a prize.

Proceeds go to BGCMW with clubhouses in Hudson, Marlborough and Framingham. For more information about BGCMW, visit bgcmetrowest.org or facebook.com/BGCMetroWest.
