Whitinsville – Iroi “Roy” LeBlanc, 84, of Whitinsville and formerly of Southborough, passed away peacefully Dec. 8, 2020 at the Boston Medical Center. After a long battle with heart disease and respiratory illness, he succumbed to Covid-19 complications.
Roy was born in New Brunswick, Canada, and moved to the United States in 1964 where he lived with his family in Waltham until 1973. They relocated to Southborough where they resided for 30 years until retiring in Port Richey, Fla.
Roy was a heavy equipment operator and mechanic. He was a hard worker and loved to tinker with vehicles and anything he could repair in his garage. He and his wife loved to camp and had a permanent campsite in New Hampshire for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marie LeBlanc of Northbridge; his children, Ron LeBlanc of Westborough, Bernie Lisk of Douglas, and Terry LeBlanc of Northbridge; and his grandchildren, Jena LeBlanc of Westborough, Matthew Lisk of Detroit, Mich., Christopher Lisk of Douglas, and Sabrina LeBlanc of Shrewsbury.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, all services are private. Arrangements are under the care of the Morris Funeral Home of Southborough.
