Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Girls Fastpitch Softball will present a series of clinics in 2021. The clinics are open to all ages, 5-16 and all abilities and will be held at the Shrewsbury Athletic Club, 3 Tennis Dr, Shrewsbury.

2021 All Skills/Catching Clinic
Dates: Feb 27, March 13, 20, 27, April 3 and 10 Time: 5-8 p.m., 1.5 hour session per age group
Cost: $140 per player
2021 Pitching Clinic
Dates: 8 weeks between Jan. 31 – April 4
Time: 1 hour of training, between 1-4 p.m.
Cost: $150 per player
- Fielding and Hitting drills for all levels developed by coaching staff based on techniques used at High School and Collegiate levels.
- First time with a bat and glove or starting SS for your club, we adjust the drills and support for each skill level.
- Catchers bring your gear and work on blocking, framing and throwing out anyone who dares to run on you.
- Throwing drills and progressions developed by Austin Wasserman, founder of High Level Throwing
- Practice and learn techniques to throw harder and further while avoiding injury.
- Pitching drills and progressions developed from fundamentals through advanced pitching skills will be covered
- Clinic is organized by players’ experience. All ages welcome. Each pitcher will need to bring a catcher.
- All State mandated COVID-19 guidelines will be followed, players and coaches will wear masks
and SGS has adopted a liberal refund policy in the event a player is unable to participate for any reason.
2021 season
The Shrewsbury Girls Softball league now is open for registrations until Jan. 31, 2021.
Registration is open to all players aged 5- 16 of all skill levels; non-Shrewsbury players welcome.
