In Shrewsbury on Saturday, at 1 p.m. Santa will be riding on a jet ski on Lake Quinsigamond to help lift the spirits of Shrewsbury and Worcester residents. He will be leaving from the Donahue Rowing Club boat ramp. Members of the Shrewsbury Fire Department are pitching in as well to make sure Santa is safe at all times.

The city of Marlborough will be holding its 1st Annual “Santa Run” on Saturday, Dec. 19 and Sunday, Dec. 20 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. The Marlborough Fire Department will chauffeur Santa Claus in Rescue-1 throughout the city.

Due to the size of the city there will be two runs. East of Rt. 85 will be on Dec. 19 and west of Rt. 85 will be on Dec. 20.  Residents will be able to follow Santa’s progress via the “Glympse” App real time – that link will be shared, as well as the specific route, on the Fire Department’s Facebook page the morning of the Santa Run.
