Two-car accident injures pedestrian in Marlborough

Marlborough – A two- car motor vehicle accident on Concord Road sent a pedestrian walking her dog to the hospital for evaluation this afternoon.  The accident occurred approximately 4:30 p.m. in front of 686 Concord Road when a Subaru Impreza collided with a Nissan Sentra. Both vehicles had heavy damage and airbag deployment.

The pedestrian was walking her dog along the side of the road and one of the vehicles involved knocked her over, causing an injury. Her little dog was okay. The woman was transported to UMass-Marlborough Hospital for evaluation.

The Marlborough Fire Department’s Engine 5, Car 5, Patriot Ambulance and the Marlborough Police responded.  The cause of the accident is under investigation.
