Madeline R. LazaroMarlborough – Madeline Rose (Cacciatore) Lazaro, 92, of Marlborough, passed away peacefully Dec. 25, 2020 at Bear Mountain Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing of Sudbury after a period of declining health. She is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of over 73 years, Bernard J. Lazaro.

Madeline was born in Waltham on Aug. 21, 1928, a daughter of the late Stephen and Rose (Maria) Cacciatore. She was raised in Waltham, where she graduated from high school and met the love of her life Bernard J. Lazaro. Madeline was a devoted wife and homemaker, raising their three children. After retirement, Madeline and Bernie relocated to Central Florida, where they spent nearly 30 years, before moving back to Marlborough, MA to be near to their children and family.

Among Madeline’s many heartbroken survivors, she leaves her three children, Bernie Lazaro Jr. and his wife Linda of Hudson, Rick Lazaro and his wife Linda of Lancaster, and Cheryl Cormier and her husband Glenn of Marlborough; her sister, Roseann Cotoni; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband, Bernard J. Lazaro, and her parents, she was also predeceased by her sister, Jean Yettito, and her brother, Raymond Cacciatore.

A graveside committal service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 5, at 9 a.m., at Evergreen Cemetery in Marlborough. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home is honored to be assisting with the arrangements.
