Marlborough – The Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce (MRCC) has announced a strategic partnership with the Massachusetts LGBT Chamber of Commerce (MALGBTCC), whose mission is “to promote economic growth and viability for LGBT-owned and allied businesses, corporations, and professionals throughout the commonwealth.”
“We are extremely proud and excited to announce this mutual partnership with MALGBTCC,” said MRCC CEO Robert Schlacter. “Our efforts to support inclusivity as a major part of our membership mission is critical in driving economic development. Our reciprocal membership plans as well as our subject matter and educational programming will continue to add value to the mission of both Chambers.”
The Massachusetts LGBT Chamber launched in 2018 and is a non-profit powered by hundreds of LGBT-owned businesses and the commonwealth’s largest, most innovative, and profitable corporations with one goal: cultivate inclusive relationships to drive economic impact.
“Our Chamber could not be more excited to be working with Robert and the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce,” said Grace Moreno, executive director for MALGBTCC. “We are continuing to build partnerships with fellow chambers in the commonwealth, and this new step will further help our statewide, LGBTQ-focused Chamber offer exclusive opportunities we have created and cultivated for LGBTQ business owners in targeted regions.”
