Shrewsbury – Central One Federal Credit Union has announced that Michael P. Rooney has retired as of the end of December as CFO and Executive Vice President. Joseph D. Rollo will now succeed as CFO.
“Michael Rooney was an integral part of the credit union for over 15 years. He progressed from being the credit union’s CFO to become its executive vice president as he absorbed many additional facets of the credit union. As a born and bred Shrewsbury resident, Michael contributed significantly to the credit union’s social and charitable ventures within the community. He was a great employee, producer, manager, teammate, and friend of the Central One Federal Credit Union family and will be missed tremendously. We wish him all the best and happy and healthy retirement,” said David L’Ecuyer, Central One’s president and CEO.
