Marlborough – Maryanne Hanick, 88, of Marlborough, formerly of Newton, died peacefully Jan. 4, 2021 at Notre Dame Health Care, Worcester. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Hanick and the mother of the late Kevin A. Hanick.
She is survived by daughter Maureen E. Cole and her husband Joseph of Ridgway, Pa.; Brenda A. Hanick of Watertown; Susan Turchon of Marlborough, Michael J. Hanick and Linda Lane of Framingham, and Maryanne Hanick and David Phayre of Cranston, R.I. She also leaves her sisters, Sr. Theresa Carlow, Patricia LaFauci, and Anne Ford; seven grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Elizabeth, Lauren, Eric, Ruthanne and David; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was a 1950 graduate of Saint John the Evangelist High School, Cambridge. She had many interests and talents, including “the most welcoming host,” and crafts included: braiding rugs, sewing and knitting. She enjoyed traveling with the love of her life, Bob.
