Westborough Tennis and Swim Club logoWestborough – The Westborough Tennis and Swim Club (WTSC) has been re-acquired by previous club owners Justin Lundberg and Stephen Ferris, as well as long time tennis director Michael Zatsiorsky. The club was originally purchased by Lundberg in 2005. From 2005 to 2018, the club experienced tremendous growth and expanded its footprint and services numerous times. In 2018, it was sold to Town Sports International under its Boston Sports Clubs (BSC) brand. Unfortunately, BSC filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection in September mainly as a result of COVID-19 related restrictions in all of its US markets.

“We could not let the club shut down,” said Lundberg. “This club means too much to too many people in the community. We have been the best resource for tennis, swim, and fitness in this area for the past 50 years, serving hundreds of thousands of kids and adults in MetroWest, as well as providing thousands of people with jobs.”
