Southborough – John J. Ward, 60, of Southborough, passed away Jan. 25, 2021 at his home. Born in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Edna (Jewers) and Robert Ward.
John was a 1978 graduate of Algonquin Regional High School in Northborough. For many years he worked for World Realty in Newton as a Site Manager. John was a hard worker and relaxed by sitting by his fire pit enjoying a few beers with his friends while letting out his infamous words “oh boy.”
He is survived by his loving daughters, Christy Christo and her husband Christopher of Marlborough and Cayla Ward of Westborough; his siblings, Diane Cahill of Florida, Robert Ward and his wife Mary of New Mexico, Mari Ann Roy and her husband John of Charlton, and David Ward of Southborough; his former spouse, Claire Ward of Westborough; cherished grandchildren, Savannah, Jackson, Mason, and Sophia; a special niece, Sarah Ward; and many other nieces and nephews.
A private funeral service will be held Friday, Feb. 12, at 1 p.m., at Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Southborough. Pandemic rules set forth by the Governor will be followed.
