Shrewsbury – During the pandemic, people have found creative ways to celebrate holidays. In Shrewsbury residents are now asked to consider showing local senior citizens some love by making homemade Valentine’s Day cards.
Cards can be as colorful as you like – it is just requested that you do not use glitter or paint. (Store-bought cards are also fine.) The cards can be dropped off at the Town Hall mailbox (care of Parks & Rec.), 100 Maple Ave., by Monday, Feb. 8. The cards will then be distributed to the town’s seniors.
