William H. CrossonMarlborough – William H. “Bill” Crosson, 91, died Feb. 4, 2021 after a long period of failing health. He was the husband of Joan (Dekan) Crosson, to whom he was married for 37 years.

He was born in Camden, N.J., the son of the late William and Martha (Gardiner) Crosson and lived many years in New Jersey before moving to Marlborough 26 years ago.

Mr. Crosson graduated from Cornell University in 1951 and was a member of the Naval ROTC, subsequently serving in the navy during the Korean War and as an instructor at the U.S. Naval Academy.

After discharge from the navy, Bill worked as an actuary for the Equitable Life Insurance Company in New York City, and as a consulting actuary, before retirement.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Raemond Crosson, and a sister, Shaula Wright, both of New Jersey.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all funeral arrangements are being scheduled for a later date.
