Pedestrian hurt in Shrewsbury accident


Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Police Department released this statement this afternoon:

On February 9, 2021 at approximately 6:22 a.m.  Shrewsbury Police, Fire and Worcester EMS responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle at the corner of Lexington Road and Old Mill Road in Shrewsbury. The victim was reportedly out jogging prior to being struck. The driver of the vehicle did stop and was present when police arrived. The victim was transported to UMASS hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The incident remains under investigation by the Shrewsbury Police Department.
