Claudette V. SheridanWestborough – Claudette V. (Baxter) Sheridan, 87, of Westborough, died Feb. 10, 2021 at the Life Care Center of Auburn.

She leaves her children, Stephen Sheridan, Richard Sheridan Jr. and his wife Nita Sheridan, David Sheridan, Tina (Sheridan) Davis and her husband Jeffrey Davis, and Michelle Sheridan. She has eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in death by her sister, June (Baxter) Lynch of Spencer. Her brother, Gerald Baxter, lives in Worcester.

Claudette was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of Claude V. and Flora B. (Mayo) Baxter, and graduated from High School of Commerce in Worcester. Her former husband is Richard Sheridan Sr., whom she married in Worcester.

Claudette lived in Westborough for over 45 years and lived at the senior housing on Rogers Road – where she had some wonderful friends and played BINGO.

Over the years, Claudette worked for several businesses in Worcester and retired from Beldon Corp. as a receptionist.

Claudette had a great sense of humor. She was a beautiful woman. She cared for her grandchildren that lived nearby, enjoyed reading, loved to cook, and always loved dancing. She enjoyed dressing up and being stylish, and had her hair done every Friday by her dear friend, Barbara, for over 30 years. She was loved by many and will be missed very much.

A service will be planned in the near future; her request was to have her ashes spread at Gloucester Beach where she loved to go with her partner of over 20 years, Norm McCormick (who predeceased her). Arrangements are in the care of Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave., Worcester.

Donations would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 (www.cancer.org).
