Proceeds to fund scholarship for WHS student

Westborough Lions is hosting its first Duck Derby on April 10.

Westborough – The Westborough Lions Club is hosting its first annual Rubber Duck Derby, on Saturday, April 10, at 11 a.m.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, the event will be held virtually via Facebook Live from the Mill Pond Spillway and will be rebroadcast on YouTube and Westborough TV a few days later.

The proceeds from the Derby will be used to fund a scholarship for a Westborough High School student who excels in Academics, Leadership, and Community Service. You can adopt ducks in the following increments: one for $10, three for $25, and more in increments of three. The person whose duck races down the Spillway and comes in first at the end will win 50 percent of the event proceeds.
