Linda M. WelchHudson – Linda M. (DiBuono) Welch, 74, of Hudson and formerly of Marlborough, died at home on Feb. 15, 2021. She was the loving wife of George E. Welch for the past 55 years.

She was born in Framingham, raised in Marlborough, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Dorothy (Bonneau) DiBuono, and was a 1965 graduate of Marlborough High School.

Linda worked for six years in the cafeteria of Shaw Elementary School in Millbury. She previously was a coffee aide at Harrison Conference Center on Locke Drive for 25 years. She also worked at Spag’s in Shrewsbury.

Linda enjoyed crocheting and making blankets for everyone. She also enjoyed making ceramics.  She was a kind, compassionate woman with a good heart. Linda enjoyed baking and was known for her delicious pumpkin squares!

In addition to her husband, George, she leaves a son, Robert E. Welch of Hudson; two daughters, Linda A. Bonina and her husband Jeffrey of Hudson and Lisa M. Albro of Grafton; three brothers, Michael DiBuono of Hudson, Paul DiBuono of Auburn, and Salvatore DiBuono Jr. of Marlborough; a sister, Karen Boule of Marlborough; four grandchildren, Vinny, Joey, Amanda and David; two great-grandchildren, Macie and Aubrey; and many nephews and nieces.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, Feb. 20, at 11:45 a.m., in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough. Calling hours will be held from 9-11 a.m. in the Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln St., Marlborough.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to American Cancer Society or Foundation Fighting Blindness (www.fightingblindness.org).
