Natercia M. HansonHudson – Natercia M. (Bairos) Hanson, 49, a lifelong Hudson, resident, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family, on Feb. 15, 2021 at Mass General Hospital after a period of declining health.

Natercia was born Aug. 24, 1971 in Marlborough, a daughter of Maria (Figueiredo) Bairos and the late Manuel Bairos. She was raised in Hudson and graduated from Assabet Valley Technical School.

She worked as a CNA for several years, before earning an associate’s degree from Salter Community College as a Medical Assistant. She was a lifelong member of Saint Michael Parish and a recent proud member of the Hudson-Concord Elks Lodge #959.

Natercia enjoyed spending time at home with her family and also watching her favorite shows on television, which included Game of Thrones, Family Feud and anything from the Medieval Period. She also loved animals and cherished her two dogs, “Ryder,” who predeceased her and “Fiona.” Natercia was a caring and generous person who will be greatly missed by her many close friends and family.

Natercia is survived by her two children, Zachary N. Hanson of Hudson and Mariah A. Hanson of Clinton; her mother, Maria F. Bairos of Hudson; her fiancé, Glenn E. Beck of Hudson; her sister, Lisa Percuoco and her husband Peter of Hudson; three grandchildren, Xavier M. Hanson, Aleya R. Hanson, and Kason M. Sousa; her nephew, Lorenzo M. Percuoco; a niece, Angelina E. Percuoco; her godfather, Antonio Figueiredo; and many aunts, uncles and cousins, locally and abroad. She was predeceased by her father, Manuel L. Bairos.

Relatives and friends are invited to a period of visitation on Friday, Feb. 19, from 4-7 p.m., at Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Feb. 20, at 9 a.m., at Saint Michael Parish, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Burial will be private at a later date.
