Cheryl A. SimpsonMarlborough – Cheryl A. (Marsh) Simpson, 61, formerly of Marlborough, died passed away at home, surrounded by her family, on Feb. 18, 2021 after a 12-year battle with cancer. She was born in Worcester, raised and educated in Framingham, and was the daughter of Eloise (Kaminsky) Marsh and the late John L. Marsh.

Cheryl was an assistant manager for The Red Carpet Company in Framingham for more than 20 years. She enjoyed crocheting, crafts, the ocean and taking walks and long rides.

She fought cancer hard, not for herself, but for her children and grandchildren, wanting to be able to spend more time with them. Even through her illness she was always trying to help others. Cheryl was kind, selfless, brave, and loved by so many.

In addition to her mother, Eloise, she leaves two sons, William L. Simpson of Framingham and Enrique Roman and his wife Cecelia of Lancaster, Calif.; her daughter, Lisa M. Roman of Marlborough; three sisters, Eloise Rogers of New Hampshire, Sandra Miller of Sutton, and Brenda Macumber of Framingham; five grandchildren, Madison, Solee, Amiyah, Briella and Matthew; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, Feb. 21, from 4 to 7 p.m., in the Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln St., Marlborough. Following cremation burial will be private.
