Westborough – The Westborough Education Foundation will award two $500 scholarships to graduating Westborough High School seniors this year. Applicants must meet the following criteria: Westborough resident; in good academic standing; proof of acceptance to a college, trade or business school; and you are an individual who seeks to better themselves through continuing education and contribute to your community through involvement in extracurricular activities.
To apply for this scholarship, interested candidates should download the application from the Westborough Education Foundation website and can be found at this link. Candidates can also check with the Westborough High School Guidance Department. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, no paper copies will be accepted.
Applicants must write a one-page essay selecting from one of the following topics:
- Explain a school-related club or program that you have been involved in that has inspired you.
- Describe a program that you would like to see in the Westborough schools that is creative and innovative and would inspire students to learn and grow.
- Create and describe a supportive program that you feel would have been beneficial to Westborough students during this unprecedented Covid-19 Pandemic.

The Westborough Education Foundation (WEF) is a private nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial support for projects and programs that expand educational opportunities, foster and stimulate creativity, and enhance the excellence of academic experiences for Westborough students. The winners of the $500 scholarships will be seniors who best show a passion for learning and furthering their education, as determined by the WEF scholarship committee. The scholarships will be awarded at the Westborough High School graduation ceremonies.
