Nathaniel J. KilpatrickMarlborough – Nathaniel “Nathan” J. Kilpatrick, 18, of Marlborough, passed away on Feb. 24, 2021. He was born on March 19, 2002, in Concord, and was truly a gift to his parents, Barbara (Kelly) and Eric Kilpatrick.

He graduated from Advanced Math and Science Academy Charter School in 2020, where he sang in chorus and the school acapella group and participated in fencing club. He went on to study Mechanical Engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology, where he was awarded a merit scholarship.

Nathan enjoyed anime and video gaming with friends and siblings. He loved deck hockey, fencing, and archery. Nathan was a member of the Riverside Junior Olympic Archery Development team and was awarded medals in the 2018 and 2019 Bay State Games of Massachusetts and in national competition representing Massachusetts at the 2019 State Games of America.

Besides his parents, Nathan is survived by his brother, Liam, and his sisters, Laura and Katie. He will be remembered for the kindness and love that he felt so deeply for everyone.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, March 11, from 4-6 p.m., at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 12, at 10 a.m., at St. Matthias Church, 409 Hemenway St., Marlborough. Due to limited occupancy, the funeral Mass can be viewed online using the web address https://www.stmattpar.org. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough.
