Arthur L. RogersHaverhill/Grafton – Arthur L. Rogers, 74, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2021 at home with his loving family by his side. Arthur was born in Newburyport, the son of Clarence and Margaret Rogers.

He was employed at the Fernald State School for over 30 years. He enjoyed karate, taking walks, listening to his Beatle albums, his bird “Spike,” along with actively going to the gym and being around his family and friends.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Rogers; daughter Mary Ethel Rogers; son Arthur Leonard Rogers Jr.; grandchildren Heather Pierce, Kyle Wilson, Ashley Rogers, Joshua Rogers, Staisa Rogers, and Erik Rogers; great-grandchildren Paisley and Jolene Pierce, Annabelle Rogers, as well as sister Beverly Cerulo, brother Hallett Rogers, aunt May; many amazing nieces and nephews; and friends that he loved dearly.

Our beloved Dad, Arthur L. Rogers, aka Bumpsy and Karate Artie, will be remembered for his sharp wit, funny sense of humor, humble warm heart, and generous spirt and will be deeply missed.

Family and friends are invited and will be contacted with more information with the date to our Dad’s burial service. The service will be held at Highland Cemetery in Newburyport during this summer 2021 on a date yet to be announced.
