Northborough – The Algonquin Regional girls volleyball team defeated Shepherd Hill Regional 3-1 in their first home match of the season played Thursday evening, March 18.

Algonquin easily won the first two sets, both by scores of 25-13.  Shepherd Hill battled back taking the third set 25-17, before Algonquin closed it out with a 25-10 win in the final set.

Girls Volleyball is normally a fall sport in Central Massachusetts, however, due to COVID, it is being played this year during a special season known as “Fall 2” that spans March and April.
