Leta DeLong-StochajShrewsbury – Leta DeLong-Stochaj, 58, passed away at home on March 23, 2021 following a sudden illness.

She leaves her loving husband of 34 years, Michael Stochaj; her son, Christian Stochaj; her mother, Hazel (Wagner) DeLong; her sisters, Dawn Wentworth and Cheryl Strong and her husband Robert; and her niece, Rachel Laprade, and nephews, Benjamin and Alex Strong. She was predeceased by her father, Richard DeLong.

Leta was born April 25, 1962 in Framingham, and her roots were there as she graduated from Joseph Keefe Technical School. She and her husband Mike lived in Framingham, for almost nine years in Fremont, Calif., and more recently they called Shrewsbury home.

Leta was an Underwriting Assistant at Connecticut Underwriters and was part of a close-knit group there. Closer to home she loved tending to her garden, flowers, and taking camping trips and traveling with her family.

All are welcome to gather with Leta’s family and friends on Saturday, March 27, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines observed. Funeral services will be private.
