Hudson – Drama Society students at Hudson High School will take the stage in an abbreviated fashion next month for a remote presentation of Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr.
Hardly the normal look for high school theater, this presentation will gather students virtually to perform as video call tiles over slides styled to look like musical set pieces.
“From the safety of your own home, take a journey ‘under the sea’ with Ariel and her friends,” announced the Drama Society in a recent press release.
COVID-19 has disrupted many parts of the high school theater season, forcing all rehearsals to take place remotely over Zoom or programs like it.
Undeterred by those hurdles, though, Hudson has pushed onward with its traditional spring musical.
The Little Mermaid Jr. will run on Friday, April 9 at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 10 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and on Sunday, April 11 at 2 p.m. Those interested in watching can buy tickets through the website Showtix4u.com via the following link…https://www.showtix4u.com/event-details/44527
