Rosemary F. NolleShrewsbury – Rosemary F. Nolle (Slyman), 79, of Shrewsbury, passed away on March 29, 2021 at home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Peter R. and Emma C. (Russell) Slyman. Raised in Shrewsbury, Rosemary graduated in 1958 from Shrewsbury High School.

Rosemary worked as an office manager for many years, but ultimately chose to be a stay-at-home Mom to her family.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband and best friend of 53 years, David F. Nolle; a son, Peter R. Nolle and his wife Nikole, and a daughter, Jennifer E. (Nolle) Hill and her husband Michael, all of Shrewsbury; her loving four grandsons, Joseph and Thomas Nolle, Michael Hill Jr., and David Hill, as well as her closest cousin “sister,” Maryrose Russell. who she adored and many other relatives for whom she cared deeply. In addition to her parents, a sister, Eva-Jane (Slyman) Baril, and brother, Thomas J. Slyman, all predeceased her.

Rosemary enjoyed all sports, the Boston Celtics and Boston Red Sox, but her main devotion was to the University Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and her son’s and grandsons’ sporting events. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, Disney, baking, and shopping.

Rosemary also enjoyed listening to music, especially at live concerts; however, the light of her life was always her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a way of making everyone who entered her home feel welcome, notably enjoyable were when friends and family visited, especially around the holidays. She will be missed beyond words.
