    Marlborough – The entire Goodnow Elementary School community fanned out across their campus, April 7, for a sprawling “chalk the walk” celebration.

    The event was a part of larger spirit week activities at the school, this week.

    Likewise, though, this followed an incident late last month in which a juvenile allegedly scrawled a swastika on school grounds.

    The event spurred outrage throughout Marlborough and the surrounding area.

    This week, this chalk day has been welcomed by some as an effort to push back against hate with positive acts.
