Robert J. FrissoraShrewsbury – Robert J. “Bob” Frissora passed away on April 12, 2021 after a long illness at home, surrounded by his loving family. Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joan.

He leaves two sons, Michael J. Frissora (life partner Marcia Tirendi) of Westminster and Daniel E. Frissora and his wife Kaitlin of Shrewsbury; three sisters, Cynthia Frissora of Buford, Ga., Linda Gosselin and her husband Richard of Millbury, and Robin Grout and her husband Thomas of Shrewsbury; sister-in-law Annette Frissora of Worcester; a grandson, Eric Frissora; granddaughter Shayla Tirendi; great-granddaughter Sierra White; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Edward and Steven Frissora.

Bob was born in Worcester, the eldest son of the late Edward and Helen “Pat” (Webberly) Frissora. After he graduated from Shrewsbury High School, he enlisted in the Navy. Bob retired after 35 years as a diesel truck mechanic for Holmes Transportation and Penske Trucking. He loved spending time with his family camping, fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling. He was a member of St. Anne’s Church. He will be deeply missed by so many and his memory will be etched in our hearts.

The family would like to thank the staff of Notre Dame Hospice Team, as well as many VA and Worcester Elder Services caregivers, for their support and compassion they showed during his illness.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, April 19, from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m., at the Chiampa Funeral Home ~ 5 Church Road, On the Common, Shrewsbury Center. His funeral Mass will follow at St. Anne’s Church at 11 a.m. In keeping with the Covid-19 guidelines, all attendees are kindly asked to wear face coverings and practice social distancing while at the funeral home, church and cemetery. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
