A man was transported to UMass Medical Center via Life Flight helicopter on Saturday, April 24 at approximately 12:00pm.

The person was working at a residence on Sudbury Street in Marlborough when he was struck by a falling tree and sustained serious injuries. It is unknown if the man was a worker or a resident of that address.

The man was transported to the parking lot of St. Matthias Church on Hemenway Street (one of the pre-designated landing zones in the city for medical helicopters) by Patriot Ambulance Paramedic 2.

Marlborough Engine 1 provided coverage for the landing zone.

This is an ongoing story. It will be updated with any additional information that becomes available…
