GRAFTON – A Grafton marijuana business just took a major step forward in its effort to open a dispensary in town.
Discern’d Cannabis Purveyors is the brainchild of former Grafton Selectman Bruce Spinney and his business partner Allan Villatoro. Together, the two have been working through the state and local permitting process.
Late last month, they received a provisional adult-use license from the state Cannabis Control Commission to move forward with that work.
Grafton has two recreational marijuana licenses available for prospective businesses. As Discern’d is the third such business to earn a provisional license from the state, Spinney and Villatoro remain in what town officials have described as a “race to the finish line” to actually open.
