MARLBOROUGH – The Panthers baseball team walked off with a win in atypical fashion, May 20.

Tied 3-3 with Nashoba with one out in the eighth inning, Marlborough’s Ryan Dillon indeed drew a walk to force home the winning run and end the game.

The matchup was a back and forth affair from its early pitches onward as both teams traded runs in the second inning. Marlborough pulled ahead with a run in the third inning, but saw that lead turn into a one run deficit after Northborough scored in both the fourth and fifth inning.

Evening the score in the sixth inning, Marlborough secured its win before a home crowd at Bauks Field in town.
