SHREWSBURY — Shrewsbury will be celebrating Memorial Day virtually on Monday.

According to Superintendent of Public Facilities & Parks Angela Snell, the virtual ceremony will be similar to last year.

It will feature videos from Lt. Governor Karyn Polito, Rep. Hannah Kane (R-Shrewsbury), Senator Michael Moore (D-Millbury), selectmen Chair John Samia and Shrewsbury Veteran’s Service.

Girl Scouts will be leading the Pledge of Allegiance, and the Shrewsbury High School band will be performing.

The ceremony will be broadcast on Shrewsbury cable channels 28 and 329 at 9:30 a.m, 3 p.m., 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. People can also watch the ceremony on Shrewsbury Media Connection’s YouTube page.
