SHREWSBURY – The Shrewsbury Public Library is celebrating its own return to a semblance of normalcy amid the COVID-19 pandemic this month.
Beginning June 1, the library resumed welcoming patrons without prior appointments.
This new phase still requires that visitors wear masks at all times. Occupancy limits and social distancing guidelines also remain in place.
“We are committed to the library being a safe space for everyone,” read a press release. “…As most children are not yet eligible to be vaccinated, we require that all staff and patrons continue to wear masks when inside the library regardless of vaccination status.”
