Avidia Bank opens new branch in Hudson
Avidia Bank just opened a new branch in Hudson.

HUDSON – Avidia Bank recently announced the opening of its new location at 196 Washington Street in Hudson. This full service branch will replace the branch located across the street at 221 Washington Street in RK Plaza.

The new branch offers walk-in and drive-up banking, a business night drop depository, drive-up ATM, along with an expanded branch team from the original location.  Additionally, new enhancements to the branch technology will be available, including a self-service coin machine, touch screens and access to a Tech Ambassador who can help customers with online and mobile banking needs. Customers can look forward to seeing the same friendly faces at the new location, right across the street.

At this new stand-alone location, customers no longer need to worry about the challenges of the plaza traffic, and a traffic light at the entrance/exit is available to make the branch easy to access from Washington Street.

“Our new Hudson South Branch will be an extension of the modern appeal of our downtown locations. Bankers will be equipped with new cash recycler technology and digital banking tools, allowing for an even speedier banking experience,” said Mark O’Connell, President & CEO of Avidia Bank.

Avidia Bank has also recently renovated its downtown Hudson branch at 17 Pope Street and is currently renovating its headquarters at 42 Main Street to become the bank’s corporate headquarters, which is expected to open later this summer.
