REGION – In the past week, regional schools competed in the MIAA tournament with multiple schools claiming divisional titles.
Shrewsbury’s Girls Tennis squad defeated Westborough in the Division I Central State Final and also beat Longmeadow in the Division I State Semi-Finals. They will compete for the Division I title next week.
Westborough’s Boys Tennis team took home the Division I Central Title and went on to beat Amherst-Pelham in the Division I State Semi-Finals.
Finally, the last regional team to claim a state title was the St. John’s Wrestling squad. They defeated Needham to win the Division I Central Title.
