WESTBOROUGH – The Westborough Public Library recently announced that it is bringing back its “Screen on the Green” events on Thursday evenings this summer after a pause last year due to the pandemic.

The family-friendly outdoor movie lineup kicked off on July 8 at the Bay State Commons with a screening of Jumanji, Next Level. The final movie of the summer will be screened at Lake Chauncy on July 29. The start time for all Screen on the Green movies is 8:30 p.m.

The July 15 screening will showcase The Greatest Showman. On July 22, moviegoers will be treated to the Princess Bride. That July 29 Lake Chauncy screening will feature Free Willy.

Treats will be available for purchase provided by Uhlman’s Ice Cream and the BORO Sugar Shack. The library invites attendees to bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a movie under the stars. In the case of inclement weather, individuals can check the library’s website at westboroughlib.org or call 508-366-3050 for more information.
