SHREWSBURY — Job seekers over 50 now have an opportunity to attend virtual networking meetings through the Shrewsbury Public Library.

The library, joining with seven Massachusetts libraries, has new access to the Massachusetts Library Collaborative 50+ Job Seekers Networking Group.

The networking meetings are free and held virtually over Zoom on the first and third Wednesday of the month from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The meetings, which are facilitated by the career coach Debbi Hope, MBA, PCIC, kicked off on July 7 and will run through Dec. 15. They cover topics ranging from the basics of LinkedIn to preparing for an interview.

Pre-registration is required and can be done at www.50plusjobseekers.org. For more information, call SPL Assistant Director Michael Zeller at 508-841-8531 or connect via email at [email protected].
