NORTHBOROUGH — Free summer concerts are swinging back to Ellsworth-McAfee Park this summer, according to the Northborough Community Affairs Committee.
Before the shows, which are held on Sundays from 5 to 7 p.m., attendees can check out food vendors, which will include Northborough House of Pizza, Travelin’ Bones BBQ, Uhlman’s Ice Cream, Yummy Mummy Bakery and Fork N’ Delicious Food Truck.
The summer line-up kicks off with the Playing Dead on July 25, which is a Grateful Dead tribute band, featuring former members of the Dark Star Orchestra, Slipknot! and Uncle John’s Band.
Way Up South will take the stage Aug. 8, and the Billy Joel/Elton John tribute band Cold Spring Harbor will perform Aug. 22.
The Free Summer Concert Series will wrap up with Crocodile River Music on Sept. 5.
