WESTBOROUGH — Three students were recently honored with $1,500 scholarships courtesy of the Westborough Women’s Club.
“We wish these students the very best as they begin their college careers,” the club wrote in a press release. “The WWC is so proud to be able to support them!”
This year, the scholarships were given to Belinda Roy, Rachel Fredman and Nicole Farmer. Roy will be attending Salem State University. Fredman is heading to the University of Maryland, while Farmer will be studying at Fairfield University.
Last year, the scholarships, which are usually received at graduation, were delivered to the recipients’ homes due to the pandemic.
