Peter J. RonayneClinton – Peter J. Ronayne, 80, of Clinton and formerly of Marlborough, died on July 19, 2021, at Clinton Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, when he passed to join his wife, Elizabeth Rossi Ronayne, who died in April 2021.

Peter was born in Sommerville, the son of the late Walter and Mary (Decarolis) Ronayne. He served in the Massachusetts National Guard.

Peter was a machinist and was employed by Odell Company in Watertown before retiring to Old Orchard Beach, Maine. He moved back to Massachusetts to live the rest of his days with his children. He loved playing horseshoes and being at the beach and casinos.

Peter is survived by two sons, Peter Ronayne and his wife Julie of Marlborough and Steven Ronayne and his wife Nancy of Clinton; a daughter, Stacey Ronayne-Claire of Marlborough; three stepsons, Mark Rossi and his wife Frances of Marlborough, Anthony Rossi and his wife Neuza of Florida, and Scott Rossi of Maine; nine grandchildren, Jennifer, Jonathan, Jeremy, Brittney, Atheana, Brandon, Jaxson, and Carter; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Walter Ronayne of Marlborough; a sister, Regina Zarphar of Texas; and the mother of his children, Diane Boulay of Hudson, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandson, Chandler Claire; his stepdaughter, Christina Colleton; and four brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 31, at 11 a.m., in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Moose Lodge, Fitchburg Street, Marlborough.
