Historical encampments part of new museum exhibit

HUDSON — The American Heritage Museum will be presenting a living history exhibition called “Military History Through the Ages” on Aug. 7 and 8 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

One portion of the exhibition will feature multiple historical encampments, beginning with the French and Indian War and ending with the Vietnam War. 

The camps will feature authentic materials and be manned by re-enactors, who will share information about life as a military person in each encampment. 

Additionally, the facility’s three museums will be open. 

Tank driving experiences will be available throughout an upcoming weekend living history exhibition at the American Heritage Museum.

Tickets cost $25 for adults, $20 for veterans and seniors and $15 for children between three and 12 years old.
