MARLBOROUGH – Members of the Marlborough Police Department recently received a free lunch from D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches.

Representatives of the sandwich chain stopped by the police station earlier this month bearing sandwiches and chips “as a sign of appreciation for the work [the police] do in the community,” according to a press release.

The donation was part of D’Angelo’s EveryDAy Heroes program, which seeks to recognize “community heroes.”
