Robert W. DeyetteGrafton – Robert “Bobby” W. Deyette, 74, passed away on July 28, 2021 at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester following an illness.

He leaves his loving wife of 24 years, Donna (Rivers) Deyette; his children, Missy Fasshauer, Shellie Noel, Matthew and Heidi Deyette; his stepchildren, Gary and Christopher Jennings and also Jennifer Birtz; and his grandchildren, Nicole and Kenny Maranda, Katie and Tommy Deyette, Alexis, Tyler, Eliesia, Ellianna and Zaiden Jennings, Arianna Dubois, and Connor and Adaline Jennings. Bobby was born on March 23, 1947 in Milford, son of the late Barbara (Cote) and Richard Deyette, and was a life-long resident of Grafton. He excelled as a high school athlete playing baseball, basketball and football.

Always hard-working, Bobby was a truck driver by trade for many years before working in Shipping and Logistics for Genzyme prior to his retirement.

Away from work he loved being “Grampie” to his many grandchildren and finding time to get away on his motorcycle whenever he could. He also was happy with a fishing rod in his hand, taking trips to the mountains or the seashore in Maine or Cape Cod with his wife Donna, and if anyone over thought they had the upper hand against him while shooting pool they likely had another thing coming.

All are welcome to gather and remember Bobby with his family on Thursday, Aug. 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton, followed by his interment at Riverside Cemetery in Grafton.
