Westborough – Yoshiko Furukawa Turner, 89, of Westborough, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2021. She was born to the late Tadashi and Fumi Furukawa on May 22, 1932 in Tokyo, Japan.

Yoshiko graduated from Koto-Gakuko High School in Tokyo, Japan. She then married the late Allan Howarth Turner in Tokyo, Japan in 1955 and relocated soon after to the U.S.

Yoshiko is survived by two children, Nancy Turner of Waltham and Stephen Turner of Ashfield. Yoshiko was predeceased by her husband in 1987.

She was a long-time employee of The Fabric Place in Framingham.

Yoshiko was a popular and well-loved member of the Westborough and Northborough Senior Centers, participating in a number of activities, including the Senior Rockettes and numerous holiday pageants. She was an artist and loved to paint.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Aug. 12, from 4-6 p.m., in the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 W. Main St., Westborough. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, will be held privately.
