Hudson – Walter V. Kochanski Jr., 74, a lifelong Hudson resident, passed away peacefully on Aug. 14, 2021, in Lancaster, with his family by his side.
Walter was born in Framingham on Aug. 2, 1947, one of five children of the late Walter V. and Gemma (Vanzini) Kochanski. He was raised in Hudson, where he attended school and was a member of Christ the King Church and Saint Michael Parish. He was an avid sports fan and also enjoyed watching westerns at his home. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Walter is survived by four siblings, Mary Ann Leolis of Hudson, Michael A. Kochanski and his wife Cathy of Leominster, Joseph P. Kochanski of Hudson, and Joan Johnson of Florida. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 17, at 11 a.m., at Saint Michael Cemetery on Cox Street in Hudson. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home is honored to be assisting with his arrangements.
