HUDSON – Attendees of a special event at the Artisan in Hudson will learn the ins and outs of memory care on Thursday, August 26 from 4 to 6 p.m.
Dementia Specialist Tammy Pozerycki will share her broad experience in the field, first explaining what Memory Care is before then detailing how to know a loved one needs it.
Attendees will learn about the benefits of a specialized Memory Care environment to both a loved one and the people who care for them.
“It’s normal to have feelings of uncertainty in making caregiving decisions,” a press release announcing the event stated. “It helps to be as informed as possible.”
“It can ‘take a village’ to care for a person with dementia,” that press release continued. “Understanding Memory Care is part of learning about your ‘village’ of support.”
The Artisan is located at 253 Washington St. in Hudson.
