Hudson – Ginni O’Connor, 79, of Hudson, passed away peacefully on Aug. 28, 2021, in Worcester, with family by her side, while listening to some of her favorite Irish music.
She was born in Somerville on Feb. 9, 1942, to her late parents, James E. Foisy and Mary (Lloyd) Foisy, and grew up in Wellesley. She is survived by her brother James of Tennessee and sister Barbara of California.
Ginni moved to Hudson in 1963 to raise her young family and is survived by her four children: Scott O’Connor of Worcester, Sue O’Connor of Westminster, Dianne O’Connor of Southbridge, and Mike and Nancy O’Connor of Sterling. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
While she spent most of her working career at Digital, it was her family and her travels to Ireland that brought her the most joy. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, Sept. 2, from 4-7 p.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. (Face masks will be required). Services and internment will be held privately in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson.
